A journey that continues

My story

Hi, I’m Kesh Nampoothiry. I'm a meditation guide, storyteller, and recovering overthinker.
I believe meditation doesn’t need to be perfect or poetic. It just needs to feel real. Through my sessions, I help people slow down, tune in, and build a practice that actually feels good and not something they dread like laundry day.

Life so far

For most of my life, I worked and continue to work with words — writing, designing, editing, storytelling.

I’ve been part of startups and global tech companies, crafting content and making digital products a little more human.

But somewhere between the Slack pings and Figma files, I started craving a deeper connection. Something beyond KPIs and deadlines. That’s when meditation snuck in. What began as a five-minute practice in my bedroom slowly became a way of life.

Outside of work, you’ll find me either sketching, meditating, or watching my cat ignore me. I’m curious about people, obsessed with stories, and always up for a good laugh (even mid-meditation — yes, it’s allowed).

Meditation and me

I didn’t wake up one day in lotus pose with enlightenment streaming through my window. I started like most people — half-asleep on a yoga mat, wondering if I was “doing it right.”

But I kept at it. I tried breathwork, body scans, loving-kindness meditations... even a few awkward eye-gazing sessions. Slowly, I realised — meditation didn’t have to be mystical or dramatic. It could be simple, grounded, and even fun.

So this year, I took a leap (and a flight) to Bali and trained under two amazing teachers — Leah Santa Cruz and Paul Teodo. I completed a 150-hour Meditation Teacher Training, accredited by Yoga Alliance. That experience changed the game for me. It deepened my personal practice and gave me the tools to guide others in a way that’s human, humorous, and heartfelt.

Now, I create meditations that feel like warm hugs — for folks who are curious, tired, healing, or just trying to find a moment of peace in their day.
